The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on a vision -  a vision of a better world - one without blood cancers.

We, Youanna and Reilly, are student visionaries!

This year, we are proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.

Youanna is joining the cause as she is hoping to put a smile on each and every child's face; she wants them to be able to have a normal childhood playing outside with their friends or eating dinner at their own homes with their families. She does not want any family to have to suffer from a loss due to blood cancer.

Reilly is joining the cause due to her personal connections with cancer. As a person with family memebers diagnosed with cancer, she has seen the ways it can effect both the afflicted and their families. If she can help ease the process in any way and give families even a handful of hope, she is willing to do whatever it takes to ensure this.

LLS helps the blood cancer cause in a plethora of ways:

• Fund research to find a cure for blood cancer
• Advocate for those diagnosed with blood cancer
• Support patients and their families who are afflicted by blood cancer

Our mission pillar is Patient Support; we are really focusing on helping blood cancer patients and their families this year!
